The Album

Out now!

NovaOph's first album "No One Directs Our Fate" is now released. It features five pieces of electronic music, described below.

No One Directs Our Fate

part 1-4

Divided into four sections, this very electronica track lasts more than eighteen minutes. A slow, texturally rich introduction, featuring analog synthesizers, leads into a main section exceeding six minutes in length, developing a melody supported by a piano. The piece concludes with two highly rhythmic sections characterized by extensive use of arpeggios.

The Flags Of Freedom

part 1-2

The composition opens with a haunting alarm, accompanied by a historical recording of a Moscow radio broadcast. This unsettling movement is followed by a second part introduced by a speech from an American president, a relatively rhythmic section accentuated by a pronounced arpeggiated bassline.

Listen

Unstructured Reflections

part 1-4

The piece begins with a slow-paced introduction featuring lush pads and ethereal vocals. This is followed by a rhythmic section driven by an almost funky beat. A virtual speech then introduces a highly electronic passage.

Who Are You

part 1-2

An extended, highly electronic piece that evolves into trance. This track is undoubtedly destined for a bold club remix featuring the most radical trance sounds.

Infinite Memories

part 1

This track comes with a delicate, classical melody that evolves into a fusion of electronic and rock elements. This exquisite melody was composed by Tiago A. Marques, a portuguese musician. Originally written for accordion, the piece has been adapted into an electronic format.

Who are you

As a child, I fell in love with electronic music. I vividly recall being astonished watching Jean Michel Jarre perform 'Equinoxe' on a beach, surrounded by his fascinating machines

Electronic music has been a lifelong obsession. I reached adulthood during the zenith of techno and rave, a time when rudimentary computer programs gave instant access to the sound of those marvelous machines, the synthesizers

Electronica music, though often overshadowed by more popular electonic music styles, continues to thrive, particularly in the realm of melodic soundscapes. Artists like Kebu or Madis have recently produced fantastic tracks that demonstrate the enduring allure of this style

The 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony showcased the extraordinary talent and diversity of France's vibrant electronic music scene. This uniquely sensory approach to music is captivating, and as AI advances, the musician's sensitivity becomes paramount in breathing life into machines

Those last years, I found fulfillment in producing my own album without any musical knowledge. Just some softwares, hard efforts and the desire to produce the best electronic music I could
